An-32 Cline
|
The Antonov An-32 was developed from the An-24 family. With its rear loading ramp and stronger engines, the An-32 translates into a "hot-and-high" version of the An-26 transport. Visible distinctions include the enlarged ventral fins and the raised engines mounted in the massive overwing nacelles. Because of the An-32’s favourable performance in extreme conditions, the UN United Nations as well as various relief organizations have chartered a number of the aircraft for their operations in Africa. The An-32 was also well received in the mountaineous state of Peru. |
